Emily utilizes a somatic psychotherapeutic technique for patients to discover new ways of feeling good, based on an individual’s specific needs. Emily places importance on mindfulness, both in the context of Zen Buddhism as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and incorporates mindfulness principles and exercises in session. In addition, Emily frequently refers patients to outside resources to further the integrated healing process.
